You have to go digging to find the classics.

1) The Exorcist- the original.. I'm not scared easily, but there are a few scenes that stick with your mind. A classic.

2) Night of the Living Dead- the original.. Very vintage zombie movie that's free off of the internet because they forgot to put a correct copyright screen on it (score! http://www.archive.org/details/night_of_the_living_dead on the left, you can stream it or download it)

3) While a little bit more psychological and slow to develop, Alfred Hitchcock is excellent stuff.

Silence of The Lambs....The Sixth Sense....Secret Window...all great scary/suspense movies I have seen. Not really into the whole blood and guts horror movie thing since I saw Friday the 13th (not sure which one...) without permission at the drive-in when I was in 6th grade and had nightmares for a month!

I do not like scary movies - One time I rented "The Ring" and I was being brave and started watching it by myself, if I watched the movie for 20 minutes I would say that is too much. I really felt as if watching the movie was going to cause my death. I returned it righ away.

The Descent. i don't comprehend why because of the fact maximum video clips in simple terms get to be so predictable and boring. yet, with this action picture, i've got faith like..in simple terms the sheer not understanding precisely what's going to ensue keeps it clean. that's what i'm re-gazing this weekend! or Wolf Creek, everybody is terrifying!

I can't pick just one...

Saw & Saw 2, Scream, Running Scared (the one with hottie Paul Walker), Final Destination 1, 2 & 3

There are lots more, but I can't think of them right now.
