it's nose in every other countries buisness only to make war machine companies billions of dollars? For example a pair of jeans cost $3.00 to make but yet people actually will pay up to 300.00 for designer jeans. Did you know it cost $7,000.00 to build a Lamborgini, but yet to buy one you need $250,000.00 plus to own one. My point and qustion is this. Wouldn't it be something if the amount of profit was mandated. Walmart sells a gallon of milk for $6.00 10 years ago it was $1.08. It's just that prices go up but salaries donot. minmum wage should be $10.00 don't you think? We can't control the cost of living but we tolerate it. but the goverment just does what it wants and again we tolerate it. We are all left out to dry. I have a idea let's all refuse to pay taxes next year that should get the wax out of the united states ears, Last I heard there are more of us then them.

Well Rich you sound really upset............But try really hard and not blame the government for EVERYTHING from soup to nuts.
If people pay $300.00 for designer jeans, then I guess they work and can afford them............It's their choice.........For your information, the Republicans tried to pass a bill to raise minimum wage but the Democrats voted it down. They don't want too much coming out of their monies that they get from tax-payers.
Everything is decided upon by a domino effect.....Oil is high...Because the price of oil went up...The delivery trucks charge a higher price to transport it because the oil companies raised the price of gas. So the gas station owners charge a higher price to us so he can pay the delivery guy...etc,etc....
It's really ridiculous out there, but what can we do

Refusing to pay taxes is not a good idea, but get involved in the election. The Democrats can get us out of Iraq. It is a lost cause after all.
If Bush would not have invaded Iraq, he could have been a great President if he had taken all the government money he has blown up in Iraq and spend it on health care, housing support, training for jobs, or a thousand other good uses. But no, instead of a good or great President, he is a bad or the worst President.

Good question anyway.

i'm particularly looking forward to this Ashes sequence and honestly have not thoroughly written the Aussies off. nonetheless England would desire to circulate into the sequence as overwhelming favourites because of recent form and the actual undeniable fact that the sequence is being performed in England. I reckon Chris Rogers may well be slightly bit a gloomy horse as he knows the circumstances over right here exceptionally lots. solid to work out some friendly banter flying around between the two instruments of supporters too!

Greetings Tinman

The wizard need to simplify Macro economics to help you figure out what you don't seem to know.

The Government is dad and you are the child drawing an allowance based on your behavior and the chores you are willing to do.

Dad is trying to teach all the children to do their chores but sometimes that is a problem. Everybody wants to do the cushy chores and nobody wants to do the difficult jobs. There are even those who want to do no job at all.

Anyway, dad takes the goods we make and sells them to other families for goods and moneys we want. These other families have dads of their own doing the same thing.

Here's where you learn what you need to learn, each dad wants to get the best price for his goods so that his children are happier. Unfortunately, some goods are harder to find than others like oil. They trade for more than say milk. And guess what, you can't pasteurize milk without oil to or natural gas to fuel the machinery that pasteurizes milk.

So dad does everything he can to make sure hi kids can have their milk buy making sure they get their oil as well.

Now what about the mark up. That is not dad. That is you kids. you pay obscene prices of anything you think is worth it. Stupid kids. Just buy cheeper toys. No problem.

If you pay 250,000 dollars for a car you deserve to pay 250,000 dollars for a car. It is called conspicuous consumption. OOH Shiney. Stupid.

Oh, and about the taxes, failure to pay them will end you up in jail and cost you all your shiney toys.

There may be more of them but they own everything including your house, your car and everything you think is yours. They just let you take care of it until you die and then they give it to someone else. So, stop telling all the other kids to do things that are stupid. It is one thing to get yourself in trouble, quite another to get others in trouble.

no one is telling you to buy a pair of $300 jean or a lamborgini--the only reason the prices for these things are so expensive because you are paying for the designer, not the materials. it's all about fad, not ethics. you can definitely survive on things that are not priced according to a person's name or brand.
the reason milk costs what it does, is that you have to pay for the cost of maintaining a dairy cow, the plastic that goes into the jug, the label for it, the processing of the milk, and transportation/labor costs for all of this. you are not simply buying the milk itself.
i suggest you look deeper into this issue and try and find what you truly are mad at. also, there are ways you can get around spending so much money--like, buy a cow. :-)

Free Market. people will pay only what they think is reasonable. people will only work for an amount of money that they deem to be reasonable, if they feel they are underpaid they will get another job, if they can't get any other job, perhaps they are making as much money as they possibly can be. the soviets tried to regulate the economy and look at where it got them, they still haven't recovered.

Mark B.: the Jews are not the problem, they are the ultimate scapegoat that people try to use whenever there is anything that goes wrong. learn to get along.

wow - what Walmart are you shopping at dear. Milk is only $1.65 -1.89 per gallon here! Problem is every time minimum wage goes up so does every thing else. Seems every one wants a peice of that pie!
If you don't pay taxes then that IRS bunch will be looking for you. Best way to get their attention - get every body out to vote. Under half of legal age voters turn out to vote for their choice each election. If you don't like what they're doing then vote them out of office. That's the best way to get their attention!

I agree!!! Its time we stayed out of the world business, let them mind their own affairs, that's half the reason the terrorists a ticked off, because they just want us to mind our business and stay out of there affairs, and to of course to stop supporting Israel, which may not be a bad idea since there committing genocide in Lebanon. and just as a side note....If anyone spends more than $30.00 on a pair of jeans ....your an idiot!!!
