well first off welcome...im almost a newbie also...ill tell u this gets really addicting...so bout yur eggs...im not a math genius but ill say depends on how u cook them....do u cook 1 dozen eggs at a time...if so it will take u longer...and in actual theory,if u cooked the first dozen then u have 4 dozen eggs which will tak bout 50 minute to cook....including time to take eggs out and put others in...but if u cook them all in the same pot it will take 10 minutes....there is a lot of things that coincide with this question...i can go on for another 12 minutes telling u but im going to make it easy for u newbie...cook the eggs all at the same time and u will have goods hard boiled eggs to eat when watcing yur favorite football team lose to the falchons, unless yur fav team is the falchons and in this case u r 1 messed up person.........hahahah j/k man have fun on here.peace

Ten minutes if you boil them all together. However, if you need to add more water to the pot to boil the extra eggs, then it would take longer for the water to boil and so longer to boil the eggs.
If a dozen of eggs were in three separate pots and they had the same amount of water in the pots and boiled at the same time, then it would take ten minutes to boil the three dozen.
If they were boiled a dozen at a time with the same amount of water in the pot each time, them it would take thirty minutes.
If it take ten minutes to boil a dozen of eggs, and they were boiled one after the other (50 seconds per egg), then it would take thirty minutes to boil three dozen eggs.

the actual cooking time doesn't change, if you like your eggs boiled at 10 min. then they all should boil for 10 min. not 30 min. as your question is headed for. if you boil eggs 30min. I would think you will have made some golf balls.

It will take slightly more than 10 mins.
if the heat source is the same (even if we assume that the vessel size and amount of water remains same), amount of heat required to heat 30 eggs will be more than heat required for 10 eggs. So, the time required will also increase. Exactly how much will be determined on the size of the heat source.

The first step is:
Boil first the first batch of dozen of eggs. Equals to 10 minutes.
The second step is:
Boil the second batch of dozen of eggs. Equals to 10 minutes.
The third step is:
Boil the third batch of dozen of eggs. Equals to 10 minutes.
If you're too quick to put water and turn the fire on (and careful), well, your preparation time is 33 minutes.
Because, if you prepare each batch a water and turning on the fire, this is estimated equivalent to 1 minute. So,
3 (First Batch)
+10 (First Batch)
+ 3 (Second Batch)
+10 (Second Batch)
+ 3 (Third Batch)
+10 (Third Batch)
___
33!!!
I'm sure you'll get it! -,)

Well if you were boiling the 3 doezen together it would still take ten minutes.
If we were doing it in lots of three dozen eggs it would take half an hour.
I suck at maths so that's my best answer.
