But we still don't learn from our lessons.....Who will we fund today and tomorrow live to regret it? Point is, we need to get our noses out of the worlds problems....Period

Terrorist.

He is not fighting for a home land. He can not therefore be a Patriot.

Just cause the Afghans won't give him up doesn't mean that he is fighting for them. He is a native of Saudi Arabia and he is not fghting for them either.

His grudge with the U.S. has to do with Palestine, which he is not a Palestinian, either.

What you have here is a wealthy rogue killer.

He was in with the U.S. when the U.S. was helping the Afghans repel the Soviets, but in his view we are all infidels and need to get out of Islamic countries all together.

And, the U.S. sleeps with the world and quite often that comes back to bite it in the backside when treaties peace mean nothing to the countries that sign them.

My understanding is that "the straw that broke the camel's back" for Osama was when the US military didn't leave Saudi Arabia after the first gulf war. He viewed the permanent US military presence in his country as an afront to Islam.

I think his 9/11 stunt has ultimately backfired on him because there is now a larger US military presence in the Middle-East than ever before, a hundred-thousand muslims are dead in Iraq and Afganistan, he's living in a cave somewhere, and the "War on Terror" has brought Israel and the US closer together as allys.

The US patriots of the American Revolution were called terrorist and those who hate the US now love to equate Osama with them;

The problem with their stupid theories is radical Islam. The American revolunaries were not bent on killing everyone that disagreed with them, they didn't declare a religous war against those who didn't believe as they did, and Osama has.

How can the radical anti American left wing reconcile these differences? They don't.

Osama Bin Laden is the Arab equivalent of the guy that came from Marin County, California, and joined the Taliban. A stupid bored rich kid who has brain issues. He's an arrogant SOB who thinks his belief system is the right one. There is no "right" belief system. He thinks he's a patriot. I think he is a killer of people. I don't know about you but I think the will to kill is one of the ugliest traits of human beings. All killers can go to hell, in my opinion, and I don't even believe in hell, Lord knows. As far has his political loyalties go, he's nuts, so there is no rhyme and reason to his motives. As far as whom the U.S. government is sleeping with, well, I guess we'll boink whatever is necessary that suits our fancy.

Well I guess this all depends where your from, If your from the middle east and you dislike the west I suppose he would be seen as a patriot, but obviously most of us here in the west see him as a terrorist. and I think there's a strong chance that the government is sleeping with the enemy!

Bin Laden would be a patriot if he confined his activities to his own adopted country and eventually won his fight. By taking the war to other countries, including the US, he became a terrorist and is fighting a battle he cannot win. This makes him a fool.

I don't know, but I'm starting to sense something is VERY wrong. Please tell me your thoughts. I was staunch conservative now I'm in total limbo. Very confused.
I'm sure I sound like a super dumb***, but could we possibly be being decieved this completely?
Who is the enemy? I need to know the truth!!! What is it?
Well no one else here seems to be bothered. It helps a little.
Of course Osama's a terrorist for hitting this country. Look we need to stay out of the middle easts affairs and that includes all of the middle east.

During the first gulf war we put U.S. Military bases in Saudi Arabia... apparently this was tantamount to wiping your a$$ with the Koran on national television. Saudi Arabia is the most Holy land there is in Islam and by putting our bases on it we pissed a ton of Muslims off (nevermind the fact that the Saudis INVITED us to put them there) and that's why bin laden started al qaida. It was only three years later that they tried to blow up the trade center, we should have hunted him down then.
