I am trying to find out how much a substitute teacher for Cincinnati Public Schools earns. I have looked all over the internet but I don't think they post the daily pay- a lot of school districts don't post it so I figured someone on here would know! Please not- I do not have a teaching credential- I just have a bachelor's degree and masters- but neither are in education. I'm just looking for a part time job that had good hours. Also, I like working with kids and have substitute teaching experience in another state.Thanks!

Try looking for the board of education minutes.
I know a while ago I found simular information for one of the local schools here in Cinncinnati but I cannot remember where exactly.
But I do know it was somewhere on the boards website.

I am a sub teacher for the Wichita Public School district. You might try "Cincinnati Substitute Teachers Association" and see if you find something that way. The information you find might not be accurate. Our school district just voted on raises, and I know that they haven't posted the new wages on the web. Call your local school district and ask them if they are accepting "emergency substitute teachers" at this time. Emergency subs don't have to have a teaching certificate, just an emergency sub certificate. Sorry I don't know more about your district -- but I hope that helps.

I attended Cincinnati Public Schools and I have friends that are teachers and they DO NOT make much money at all, as a matter of fact I have heard that they make about half of what a regular teacher would make. Not Worth it if you ask me!
