you are uptight, but then no one really wants a farter. so its best to excuse yourself from the group and fart in private.

Assuming this is true to begin, it actually means that you are one of the last remaining people on the planet whose parents taught them good manners.
Incidentally, I have been married 26 years to the same lovely girl and I have NEVER, EVER, NOT EVEN ONCE farted in front of her in 26 years of marriage. I think too much of her to do something like that in front of my sweetheart.

I can relate to that. I think it was because I didn't think people did it as much as I do.
I then learnt it was just natural and that people do it. Maybe I just have gross friends hehe.
I dated a guy once and for the five months we were going out I didn't let one rip - that killed me. Sometimes I just had to pretend I was doing something in a different room. I think I was just shy back then

You're polite. It's a good thing. Unless of course you're in a fart lighting contest, in which case this would be a drawback.

I guess it depends. Out here in the country..you would be uptight.
But in the city you probably woudlnt be uptight. I wouldnt consider you uptight though

You are just respectful! Who wants someone to do that around them??? Its okay here and there but someone that gets too comfortable with it it gets disgusting and annoying especially if it smells really bad!

no, your just a decent person who doesn't fart in front of ppl. i dont it's nasty! i do in front of my family, only those who i'm comfortable around!! :)
