The gynic recommended Hysterectomy as only option. Back home the regular (family) gynic recommended no Hysterectomy and her cycle was brought back to normalcy with hormonal tablets. Can't really explain cancer, but from personal experience will offer that ovaries are cystic by nature and it seems that heavy bleeding and irregular cycles are normal for women over a certain age. A possible alternative to hysterectomy ( to control bleeding ) might be a procedure where the lining of the uterus is cauterized - the name escapes me - dermablasion, perhaps? OK r u ready for this my ex-mother in law had not been to the doctor in 37 years. Two weeks ago they cut out a 28 cm, 18 lbs fibroid. She is fine with no cancer at all.
