We all know Kim Jong-il's motive is simply to hold on to power and save his skin. Does anyone seriously think that his resolve has been weakened by the trial and possible execution of Saddam.

If anything kim Jong-il now knows his possible fate and is, therefore, even more determined not to be overthrown. Another Western foreign policy success!

Kim Jong-il knows that his position strengthens with every test or revelation about his arsenal. You would think it would all be pretty scary for those living in Seoul. However, most Koreans are cynical and think he tweaks the system every time he needs more aid/money - seams to work a treat!

Meanwhile, the West (USA) gets more paranoid (see mental health question)

Why? Waste of time. They have been coming forwards way before Iraq Invasion.

It would just be stupid from the UN or actually, America to investigate N. Korea since their military capacity outnumbers that of America. Think of whom would get involved. Ahem....CHINA. And our government has known this long before, but N. Korea was not their plan. N. Korea doesn't fit their plan so yeah, there won't be any investigation on N.Korea.

P.S. USA was the only country in this world that ever used Nuclear bomb on another country.

No. They've a right to defend themselves, which includes having nuclear weapons if a potential hostile power, which has already declared North Korea to be part of an axis of evil, does.

They don't need to be investigated, we already know they are making them or trying to make them. They haven't really been that secretive about it.

Why investigate? All you have to do is ask. They'll be more than happy to show it off.
