I've been using Treo phones for a while now. I've really enjoyed my 650 so far to date. It is a really good phone I can't give you an answer on the durability because I've never dropped one. They are plenty of websites dedicated to the Treo series and there are plenty of software apps for them too. The Black Tie Edition 650 is awesome and I was really close to getting one. Then I heard that they were developing the 700p/700w models for use on GSM networks [I have T Mobile]. So now I decided to wait for one of those instead.

Treos owned:
Treo 180
Treo 270
Treo 600
Treo 650

There's an article in PC World either this month or last month about PDA phones and Treo was one of the top ones tested. They recommended the Treo 700p, Motorola's Q and the Sidekick 3

650 is outdated. The 700 can connect to a laptop and use it for a high speed wireles modem.
