The best ways for teens to loose weight is to exercise and not drink sugary drinks. Diet sodas aren't really good for you, but they will help you loose weight.

You shouldn't starve yourself or your matabolism (sp?) will slow down, causing you to pack on the pounds. Eat when you are hungry. If this means eating an apple or yogurt between meals, it's okay. As long as your calorie count is the same at the end of the day, it's okay. Don't eat when your not hungry. If your halfway through a meal and no longer hungry, stop eating and save it for later.

Before meals drink a full glass of water. It will fill you up and help with digestion.

After meals, resist the temptation to lie down. This doesn't help. Go for a short walk.

Which brings us to excersize. Not that hard, find a dog to walk (you may be able to make money walking your neighbor's dogs) or a cute guy to get you motivated. If you have slow internet, don't sit and wait, do laps around the room. Although you won't want to, doing chores that get you moving will help to.

Stay active and eat healthy. Good luck!

Understand that during your teenage years, you are still developing into an adult. Your endocrine system is generating hormones that are helping you to mature physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Some people mature at faster rates then others, some slow. Even your gender has an impact on how you develop. There are numerous examples of people continuing to grow well into their late 20's. Men won't fully develop until at least the age of 25, even though most women are physically developed by the age of 22.

In this cycle of development, there will be periods where your body will need to store extra pounds and lose them as well. Many people who engage in regular activities will lose most of these fat stores towards the end of their teenage years (17 and up).

Simple changes to your eating habits can help this process as well as lead you down a path of healthy eating that can follow you for the rest of your life. Basically, cut out sodas and other foods high in sugar and limit your consumption of foods that are fried (fried ice cream, french fries, etc.) or have lots of refined flour and yeast (doughnuts, pizza, etc.).

Healthy eating will only get you part of the way. I would not recommend any diet and exercise program for anyone without first consulting your family's physician.
