Stop and think, why is that grass greener? Is it over a septic tank? (Erma Bombeck, The Grass is Greener Over the Septic Tank), Is that where they take the dog to do his business? It's not always because it's better grass.

I would haul my big a$$ over to the other side, and stay there until I found new grass that was even greener. I would also kick any dog that came to pi$$ on my grass.

Put out some fertilizer, and give it some water if you are not getting enough rainfall...It's best to water in the evenings, because if you water when the sun is out and hot, it may damage the young seedlings...So water in the evenings or early before the sun gets too hot and bright.
If you are talking in metaphors, try making your own situation better, don't sit around a mourn for what could be, make something good happen in your own yard! ;-) If all else fails, have your lawn covered over with cement, and paint it glow in the dark flourescent GREEN, and then nobody could ever have a greener yard than yours!

Work with what you have. It just looks greener over there. Once you get to the other side what you had will look so much better.

Sit here tight and enjoy what you have and watch the gross on otherside, which is green. This way you enjoy both the things. Else, if you go there, you will lose what you have, and after reaching there, you realise it is not greener any more, so you would be looser from both sides :)
