I've chased tornados and seen several, but never actually been in one. A huge twister hit my hometown when I was a teenager but I was on vacation. It missed our house, though, cause we lived in the country. But let me tell you there is nothing like the rush of chasing tornadoes. They are AWESOME.

I was about a mile away from one once. I didn't get to see it cuz I was in the woods camping. It shook the campsite up though. I was lucky.

My family and I have been in lots....they are scary and we usually run to the storm shelter....although they have no effect on my retarded husband.....he will continue any outdoor activity he is doing, such as grilling or mowing the lawn......he needs a new brain
