That's not a proper question... mainly because Kirby was an artist while lee was a writer NOT TO MENTION that they were a team.
And by the way... Stan may be the man but Kirby is king.

I do not know which to choose. Stan once said when you see someones creation you should not criticize. I think that Stan has created many things. People, worlds, stories, etc. Jack brought them to us. The cover of X-Men #1. I do not like the way a lot of stories are written. Now more than ever. Sex and Violence have replaced story telling. I do not like the way a lot of stories are drawn now. Women are shown as pencil thin, and appear unable to wear clothes. That said Good or Bad Stan has created so much. And he loves his Wife and Daughter very much. If I have to choose I pick Stan.

Anyone who would pick Stan over Kirby knows next to nothing about comics....Captain America, FF4, Thor, Hulk, Spiderman, Xmen,......the list goes on and on....Lee continues to take credit for them. Lee has always admitted to being a great self promoter......in most cases at the expense of the actual artists who created the characters he takes credit for....sad. You guys keep drinking that Kool-Aid though. Taking credit for someone else s work because you owned the Co.......well thats the American way. Right?

This is just wrong (because I love them both), but I will vote for Stan "The Man" Lee, since I actually got to meet him and because he is a nice guy.

Stan Lee all the way ...he is still alive, he's making tons of cash for pow entertainment and he got a tv show on scifi..plus movies coming out !!! plus he gets big cash from fantastic 4 hulk, and the spidey movies ... he wins hands down !!!!

lee is absolutley the man, he helped a man in distress (Brodie) from a horrible break up with a real life personal stroie hes a good guy.
