Are you seroius? Chicago has the Sears tower, and the John Hancock building where you can go to the top of both.
Or take a skyline cruise at Navy Pier. Fireworks everywednesday and Saturday.

Phoenix,AZ. has some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen, mostly during the MONSOON.
The PACIFIC NORTHWEST is beautiful too.
