when u answer a question , rate a question or vote a question u get points. when u ask a question u lose u r point. when u visit the yahoo answers for a day u get a point for visiting.

You can use your points to "pay" for the questions you ask. Each question will cost you five points. You can also use them as something to brag about to all of your friends. Other than that, there isn't a whole lot that you can do with them.

I don't know-either. Maybe they're good with a sandwich! I'm not here for the points. I'm here for the privledge. Answering questions is a good way to find out how you think & feel about things. And if you're honest with yourself- maybe you can help someone else out- too.

give yourself a pat on the back cos the answers you gave earned you points and maybe you have helped someone in the process.As for redeeming the points for prizes or rewards well heck you just got a pat on the back;)
