Do you mean an oral medication or a topical medication? If it is an oral medication like accutane or any kind of prescribed topical cream, It probably would be best to check with your dermatologist or the doctor that prescribed the medication, before you use anything on your skin that can potentially irritate it. If you are taking accutane or something like it, In my experience it would be best just to use a very gentle cleanser, to clean your face every day and not a scrub. Two very good and gentle cleansers are: Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, or CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. Both are very gentle and were recommended to me by my dermatologist.

If you use St. Ives Medicated scrub (the one in the white & blue tube/bottle...it has an acne medicine in it) you might find your skin drying out a bit more than you'd like. St. Ives makes gentle apricot scrub (for sensitive skin) and their "regular" apricot scrubs, so if your skin is getting too dry, I would recommend switiching to one of those. Though, if you keep your skin moisturized, I don't think you'll have too much problem.

Hope this helps.

No way I use that stuff but just use it to clean my pores daily because sometimes I will get a freaking huge pimple on my forehead but they go away in no time, but yeah you can be on both or use both

it may dry out your skin. It all depends on how strong the medication is though I guess. I'd say stick with either one of the other, you want to clear your skin not dry it out
