Ok Twins runs in the family. Not mine his. I tested positive really early. First Response 5 days sooner at 7 dpo. I tested positive again with a regular store brand at 9 dpo and at 10 dpo positive with equate.
My LMP was July 3 and it was normal. My cycles are 28 days and pretty sure i ovulated right around the July 17th. AF isn't even due until the 30th and the pregnancy symtoms hitting hard fast.

I had twins and yes i had an early positive and the nausea and fatigue hit early too, before I even missed my cycle.
the gene for fraternal twins is on the mother's side not the father's. this doesn't mean you can't have twins. identical twins happen equally in all races and classes and have not been shown to be hereditary in any way.

You could be having twins...but don't count your chickens before they hatch...do you know what you HCG level is? HCG is the pregnancy hormone. When you have a blood test done they check your HCG level to determine about how far along you. If you are having twins your HCG level would be high...and still you can't really be sure unless you have an ultrasound! Also pregnancy test are becoming more and more accurate and can detect pregnancy much earlier. The best pregnancy test are the cheapest ones. I bought a pregnancy test from the Dollar Tree...it came up positive and I was just barely 3 1/2 weeks pregnant my doctor could not believe that I was able to detect my pregnancy that early with a pregnancy test!!! Early positive HPT doesn't mean twins, BUT it's possible fro you to have twins since they run in the family.

No. It means nothing at all. I tested + at 3 & 4 weeks with 2 of my pregnancies and had single babies.

my fap test came back high so they sent me for an ultra sound at a high risk ob doctors office......and YES it was high because i had two babies!
i had twin boys in february
it was my fap test that was so high though, a early test means nothing.
those test are so sensitive these days they can come up positive before you even miss a period

no it doesn't mean twins... AND, HIM having twins in HIS family does NOT increase your chances of having twins... the only way you would be in true risk of having twins is if it ran in YOUR family... YOUR body controls your egg output... YOUR body controls the splitting of the egg... it's all about YOUR hormones.
congrats you're pregnant and you have about a 5% chance it's twins!
