Over 50...but I don't know the exact amount. My dad has his own collection and thats in the 100's.

None. But I have 8639 MP3s. Cd's are becoming obsolete. In my life I have seen 78s, 45s, 33s, reel to reel, 8 track, cassettes, Cd's, and now MP3s. Each method of music transmission seems to get smaller while also increasing the quantity of material. Parallel to all this has been the change of radio from AM to FM and now to satellite. There is also a movement to be able to store large amounts of personal data on remotes sites and access them over the Internet. Starting with things like Yahoo mail/pictures/etc you now can find services where you can upload and store the equivalent of a large hard drive every month for a small fee. I see an eventual convergence of this ability to store personal data elsewhere and accessing your music collection. Imagine satellite radio or wireless Internet to your music player that plays just what YOU want to hear, when you want to hear, and without some BS of ads or restrictions.
