Think about it. someone like Fabio cannavaro, a world cup winner, captain of the winning world cup team playing with a team like juvetuns who apperantly has cheated the laws of then" beatutiful" game.
of course it was the righth thing for huim to do. toq uit the team who cheated and plus playing serie b isnt the rigth thing for him. he deserves to play in the highest level available. and i also believe he will be a great addition to the Real Madrid team wich is already "stacked" or fuill of stars.

In a nutshell, absolutely not!!! Cannavaro just joined the soccer equivalent of the NHL's New York Rangers....a team loaded with big name expensive talent, but still a team that chronically underachieves.

While Cannavaro's talent would not be sufficiently challenged in Serie B, he is wasting his golden years by playing for Real Madrid. Look at all the other big names who have come and gone (Ronaldo, Zidane, Beckham) and look at the results. In recent years, Real Madrid is no longer the team to beat in the Primera Liga; there is greater parity among the teams in the Spanish league however, this is true among all the major soccer leagues in Europe.

As an Italian, I would have liked Cannavaro to keep the talent at home where it would be far more beneficial to Italian soccer interests. Players with skills like Cannavaro should be used as role models for Italy's next generation of defenders.

I don't think this decision is clever.Although there are a lot of stars and talented players in Santiago Bernabeu, they haven't got a single big trophy for several years.Real Madrid's teamwork is rather awful. They belong to different styles,Antonio Cassano,David Beckham and Ronaldo shouldn't have been in the same team. And all the Real Madrid players think that only he is the soul of the team. That's why Real Madrid plays so badly even though they are not lack of money and big-names.So it's a pity that Fabio Cannavaro has chosen Real Madrid, rather than Barca.

Yes of course. Fabio Cannavaro is a great player and real Madrid is a gret team with a great coach, so what should go wrong?

I completely agree with Juventina!! Did you honestly expect him to stay down in Serie B for what could possibly 2 seasons and no Champions League!?! I love Buffon for staying but I don't know if that was such a wise career move for him... Goodluck to Cannavaro!!

No! Real Madrid can't make a good team even though they have all the stars.

Honestly if he were a true believer in his team Juventus he wouldn't of gone to Real Madrid...I would have to assume that $$$$$$$$$ is more important to him...We'll miss him anyways!! He's a great player!!

Who says that Real Madrid has no chanches of winning because they have too many "good players"... maybe you are missing a small (but so important) detail: they have a new coach!
And that coach is F. Capello!!!
