ooh ooh and the cartoon hobbes drew, "calvin's dad was really bad so calvin hatched a plan. when calvin's dad said "eat ur peas" calvin shouted "NO" and ran!" :)

I actually just picked up the anniversery thing at Barnes and Noble. Calvins cool but hobbes really keeps him from taking his imagination too far...classic line...
"dad i wanna be a millionaire"
"well calvin your gonna have to work really and save to be that"
"no you are. I just want to inherit it."

I believe Hobbes would be my choice as he is the ver faithful tiger for Calvin. Hobbes are Calvin's best friend and for a young guy like him, friends like that are hard to find. I hope i had one friend like hobbes now ;-)

C&H are fantastic.
Calvin is very creative. His gf is cool. But Hobbes is my favorite.
Hobbes is the coolest imaginary friend ever.

I read every single episode of Calvin & Hobbes. Why oh why did he have to retire!! I loved every panel.

I love reading Calvin and Hobbes. Calvin is my favorite because he is a tough little hellion who still need his mommy every now and then.

i'm also a huge fan..i have most of the collections at home and i receive the comic strip via email...i love them all...even miss wormwood...but my favorite has to be calvin...talk about a problem child! i love the babysitter stories, too..but my favorites are when he and hobbes get in the cardboard box and time travel...i remember the little raccoon story, too...it was very sad...

I luv hobbes cuz he is fuzzy. I sound like a little kid, but isn't the best story the one about the baby raccoon? to bad it dies at the end. But, it is sooooo sweet.....

I've been a fan for years. I don't have a favorite, there are way too many funny charactors to choose from. I liked the babysitter stories a lot, though, esp. when I babysat for money.
