There are areas that I am not as learned in as others, so no I'm not smarter; there are many more capable than I, so no I'm not more capable; and all are better than I; so not no better; but what I do see everyday when I look in the mirror is a woman who has survived by choice a lot of abuse, illness, and who has accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and Lord and enjoys the relationship more and more everyday - and that's a grace of God that I can not pay back, earn enough for, or do anything to merit - so I just try to live everyday sharing my experiences and the means by which I survived and hope that somehow in someway through compassion, someone will realize that life is precious, priceless, and purposeful. My name is not dumpfinds for a reason - it's where I live and but for the Grace of God - it's how I'd still be living - but he lifted me from the dumps and redeemed me - and now I'm found - he tells me I'm a wonder - because he is my stronghold - and that is so very true. Psalm 71:7

No, but my boss and coworkers are always asking me stuff and they say I am so smart. I overhear it a lot - go ask her, she will know what to do (and it is not always about work related stuff - cars, fixing a rip, handling marital stuff, whatever, I seem to be the answer lady... I do like helping people, and if I don't know the answer I will find out, but I don't think it makes me smarter or more capable - it is just that I was taught to think for myself and to discover things on my own, so I did and still do. I enjoy a challenge. If I learn something new, I am thrilled, as it keeps me alert and active. But I am by no means better than anyone else, just different and unique. (My family, friends and neighbors do the same thing, they come to me all the time, and I am always hearing "gosh how do you know so much?")
:-) It feels good to be needed.
(I was considered the dumb one of the family growing up, that is what happens when you have a rocket scientist for an uncle - yes they really are that intelligent - and the others were not far behind, so I had big role models. It was not easy... but I wanted to be able to handle the family reunions in which there were guessing games, puzzles and a quiz as well as the usual softball, swimming, volleyball and horseshoes. I really wanted to be like the rest of my family, so I read a lot and listened to people who were experts on topics, and so just picked up on stuff. Anyone can do it if they wanted to. Most of my stuff is useless info until trivia nights or on the occasion that someone has a need for it!)

Quite clearly, I am magnificent. It goes without question that I am far better at everything than anyone else around me could possibly dream of being. I am the ONE. I am to be ADMIRED. You must love me as much as I love me.

From these answers, I'm thinking of starting a new magazine; "Superior Being!" For those of you who are just a little better than everyone else . . .

I only see myself as wiser and more experienced as some and not stupid enough to question the motives or explanations of the others.

In some ways yes, but in others I realize I am terribly inept.

I'm a good person, i cant say I'm better than everyone else because that would be vain and egotistical and I'm neither.
