I am a guy with pretty thick body hair. But I would like to make it thicker. Is there a natural way to do this? I am genetically disposed towards a full facial beard which I grow out in winter and find it aids in keeping my face warm. Is there a way I can grow out my body hair just a little more to make it thicker.

Nope. Old wive's tales about shaving hair to make it thicker is just that, old wives tales. You could maybe try to take a multivitamin to keep the hair that you have really healthy so that the hair will preform at it's best for you, but that is it. Good luck, my hairy friend!

Well there is the old wives tale, that if you shave your hair it will grow in thicker.

I doubt very much there is anything you can do. Just invest in a good pair of long johns, it should do the trick, if your hair can't!

Wow!!! This is new to me.... Its kind of cool though...

Some say shaving causes hair to grow back coarser (thicker)... my husband swears this is not true though. However, as a woman who shaves her legs, I think it is.

So my solution: Shave your body hair off a couple of times and see how it grows back. Just make sure to have lotion handy for the itch.

Best wishes... T.
