don't people understand that the world is the way it is today because no one take the time to just be kind to one person on their way through life. just say hi or g'morning to one person, or over a helping hand to one person in a week and see how much better the world would be if everyone in it did this.

People lack compassion now adays. They are to self absorbed, and selfish. Its like you asking for a smile is wasting their precious time.

The world has gotten so sick that if you are nice someone, the other person might:

1. Use or take advantage of you
2. Be some sicko and thinking you want to get with him --- you never know the other person motive.

Let's all hold hands and get in a big circle and pass around a peace pipe. Then we can sing rounds of Michael Row the Boat Ashore.

MAKE LOVE, NOT WAR!!!

Liberalism. Honestly, moral relativity ended the concept of moral absolutes. People no longer felt obligated to follow social protocol and pleasantries, because it was bad for them and therefore good to avoid. It also has to do with a lack of respect and love for oneself and ones community.

Basically the rude people are those people who have not been educated properly. So unless all the people in this world can be educated properly...there will always be rude people.

After all, rude people exist to highlight those who have manners and the best education possible. Don't they?

I dunno, but I like this question.

I really try to go out of my way to be polite to people, epecially people that provide a service (waitresses, cashiers, etc) but tonight I went to get groceries, and the bagger asked me if plastic was ok, and I said "Yes,please. Thanks" to which she made a very noticeable scowl... then the checker gave me a lil half-a$$ed "thank you have a good night" when I was leaving and I smiled and told her "thanks, you too!" and she rolled her eyes.

stuff like that makes me not even want to try to be nice anymore.
