Most lebanese have come to Australia out of pure convieniance. They say they are not Australian but when the war with Israel started they were suddenly Australian and we had to pay for there evacuation. Obviously they should have assylum but do you think its fair for our hard earned dollars be spent for them to have better things than other people in refugee camps. They used the system and cheated it. Do you think that this is fair?

I think it is unfair. I can understand why they want to escape Lebanon but why the hell go back there in the first place. I think if you have dual citizenship and you come from a country like that it is goingt to be unfair.

Personally, as patriotic as I am to Australia, if stuff was going down here like that and I had a dual citizenship with New Zealand or something like that, I'd stay there and not return.

I think they should all have been made to pay something towards their evacuation. They are all proud to be Australian and thankful to be Australian but give them a few months or years and it's going to be like Cronulla again.

Harley, no person can practice for twin citizenship. The employer granting the type of request could be above the governments of sovereign international locations, subsequently above the U.S. government and the Australian government, however the only employer who can try this, The Federation of Humanoid Planets, has no longer customary Earth into their midst yet. verify decrease back in 10,000 years. you will properly be the citizen of one united states, or 2, 3, 4 . . . you call it. it surely relies upon on the particular constellation of the international locations in contact, as some quite won't play alongside, quite Norway, Denmark, the Ukraine, Japan, China, India, and so on. on your case, neither the U.S. nor Australia have any objection to this. even with the undeniable fact that, the U.S. does no longer "comprehend" if U.S. voters produce different citizenships. For Uncle Sam you will continually be an American, and not something. So if interior the far destiny, after having lived in Australia for many, some years, you exchange into eligible for naturalization there, you may neither lose your U.S. citizenship (which ability the U.S. does no longer merchandise), nor could you be required to resign it (which ability Australia does no longer merchandise the two). With those 2 particular international locations, this additionally works any opposite direction around.
