Or maybe I'll hang in there. Things are crazy right now.

I don't know what the choice will be, but I hope someone comes up with a good one.

it's not 'abandoning post' it's 'changing parties' which is perfectly acceptable.

your phrasing is so condescending.

I'd have to say that any Republic who sticks with the party after the fiascos we've seen in the past few years out to have his head examined. When I look back at what life was like before George Bush came to town, it seems like a totally different world -- like the difference between "Happy Days" then and "Mad Max" now.

I often find myself seeing how close we're coming now to all those ideas which, not too long ago seemed like utter fiction -- the Mad Max Oil Wars; The Orwellian Surveillance of our phone lines, video cameras everywhere, near strip searches at the airport.

Bush and particularly Rumsfeld have selfishly brought the entire world so much closer to World War III that you may be watching the subsequent election from your bomb shelter, rather than the sheltered confines on a plasma screen TV in a plush living room.

Hang in there??? Please, please, please, no. For the sake of our children and our world, please let them go with heads hanging low.

I'm going with the lesser of the two evils and re-registering Democrat.
Bush and his cabinet have made a big mess of things ... not just here but all over.
Very disappointed, very disillusioned and very NOT Republican!

Why would I change posts? I don't regret my vote for Bush. Although I tend to vote republican, i try to pick the best candidate, regardless of party ties. But either way, I don't regret my vote.

I still don't agree with most of the Democrat platform, when you can find it. So I will stick with Republicans. In the long run I think they will protect our country better over all.

Why would they do that? I think alot of the zealots want to see 'the rapture'. And if this political party can't bring an end to the world then nobody can.
