I usually just burn my music on CDs and listen to them in the car, but its getting expensive buying blank CDs. Its also getting confusing and hard to keep up with all my burned CDs.
Should I just get one of those things that you plug into your iPod and plug into the car and it lets you listen to your iPod through the car speakers?
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
If you have one can you tell me about it or reccomend one to me?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, and you have options too.
You can get an iTrip which "latches on" to a radio frequency and plays your music through the radio station. Admittedly, the music can be a little distorted from time to time if the signal is not clear.

Or, you can get a cassette adaptor. This is basically a normal cassette tape that you would listen to music on. It has a wire attached to it that connects to your iPod. So you put the cassette in to your radio (as you would normally) and plug the other end into your iPod. The sound clarity is much clearer on this type.

I would suggest my second option. Both should be available from an Apple Store.

Mister Man is right. You can use the iTrip. But I really don't advise you to do so if you live in a big city. Cos you got heavier radio interferences there. His second option's is much better. Use a cassete adaptor. You can get it from an apple store. Or you can also find a cheaper product that's made in china in your local electronic store. I've used one for almost 4 months and haven't encountered any issues at all. It's not a new technology, you know. When the in car CD changer hasn't been introduced to the market, people've been using a cassete adaptor with their portable CD player.

Oh, I also recommend you to buy a car lighter adaptor. So you can hear the music via the car stereo and also charge the iPod at the same time.

If you don't have any budget constraint, you can buy the harman kardon drive+play. Or you can always buy a new head unit, heheh. Most of the new ones supports iPods. There's a list of compatible head units on the apple website (link below).

i dont think they make those. But u should get an ITrip. Its this thing u put on ur ipod, and it goes onto a radio station and plays all your songs in your car, or anyother radio system. You can get one at a Mac store, or where they sell ipods.

yeah, just go to best buy or something. there are all kinds of things like that. some are wireless and work well. but the ones that plug into the cigarette lighter work better and charge your ipod too. definitely worth the money though

properly, i do not have the particular answer, yet i ought to recommend going to a digital save, alongside with proper purchase or Circuit city. shops focusing on promoting automobile kit ought to correctly be able that could assist you besides, yet make certain they're authentic (probable will be, yet some shops ought to purchase stolen kit, so be suspicious if something looks somewhat too less expensive there).
