Take a vacation for 2 weeks and get it pierced then. By the time you get back you will be able to use the clear stuff.

It is going to be tough. I mean, the piercing is right smack dab in the middle of your face. But you could always use a clear quartz retainer as your initial jewelry. Most retainers are made of acrylic and should never be used in a new, fresh, healing, or oral piercing. But quartz is similar to pyrex and can be autoclaved and is fine in new piercings as well as oral piercings. They come with "clear" silicone 0-rings that are worn on the outside. Although they are listed as clear, they are more of a translucent milky white but could easily be covered up with a little foundation.

they seem to be out right now but the company that makes them www.glasswearstudios.com should be able to hook you up no problem. http://www.glasswearstudios.com/webpages/jewelry/retainers_tongue.html

there is a material called bioplast that is great for piercings that are healing, and you can get it in clear. you can get it pierced w/ the clear ring. just go to a reputable piercing shop and see if they have any suggestions. maybe just wait until you go on vacation or something. my workplace allows piercings so i dont have to hide my nose, sorry im not much help! well good luck!

I have my lower left lip pierced, and I actually just used a clear retainer from a tongue piercing, I broke it so I didn't stick out of my lip, and it was hardly noticable. It worked for me
