I've been trying to figure it out for some time know and can't find out how to do it. I have an iPod mini and would like to take songs off it to put on my boyfriend's computer (which doesn't have iTunes, if that's a problem) but can't find out how to view the songs. I know that if you turn on Hidden Folders, it will let you move the files off the iPod. I know people who have done it, but they didn't show me.

I'm also trying to help two people here on Yahoo do it, but I'm not sure either. Can anyone help?

I know there's software and hardware and stuff out there that can do it, but I know it's possible to do it this way if only I can figure out how to turn on the stinkin' hidden folders. lol! First to answer with something that works gets the 10 points. Thanks!!

to View Hidden folders open up MY Computer go to Toolsthen Folder Options then View then scroll down a little bit and you will see an option Show Hidden Files and select it.

I dont think this is going to help you tho.I think the main problem may be that your bf's pc doesnt have itunes installed so you may want to download that onto his pc
good luck with it...if all else fails ditch the ipod and buy a Creative mp3 player;);)

To view the hidden folders in windows you better go to Tools>Folder Options, which will open the window. You click on the view tag in the window. You will be displayed with options in Advanced setting.

In advance settings, you can search for view hidden files & windows. You just enable that settings.

That is it. You will be able to view all hidden files & folders

Well I didn't get you right but if you meant that you want to view the hidden files and folders, you have to go to the control panel and to the folder option and to the view tab and check on the view hidden files and folders
Other easy way is to go any window's tool bar and click on the tools button and click on the folder option and to the view tab and check on the view hidden files and folders..
