I Have this boy who has been my bestfriend for like 4 months now and we hung out everday untill He started to hang out with people that were alot of problems then we stopped hanging out and talking to eachother on the phone...and i heard some rumors he raped my bestfriend i got so made at him i seen him one day and cused him out to find out she is dropping the charges and she told someone it wasnt true and now everytime someone says somthing about she laughs about it...Well we stopped talking completly and then i find out he moved so after like 5 weeks he calls me out the blue and we talk for like 2 hours and he said he moved to california and that he was sorry he didnt tell me he was moving because he was going away to college and everyone was saying all these lies he raped this girl. Then i asked him why he wouldnt ever call me or talk to me when i seen him he said we just grew apart and that Alot of things had changed And he called me once like 1month ago

In my opinion, he probably didn't want to talk to you because he thought you believed the girl, and didn't know about her laughing about it and saying it really didn't happen. He did call you though, so obviously your friendship is important to him. I would continue to talk to him. Who were you friends with longer, who do you trust more? Look at the history of the people you are dealing with and if they have been honest with you before, and make your decision.

Is your problem that you do believe that he raped your best friend? If you think that maybe he did, if there is even the slightest chance that he did. don't talk to him. What if you are next? Don't put yourself in a dangerous situation. He is in California now but what if he comes back and wants to see you? The best thing you could do is cut all ties with this guy. Maybe your friend dropped the charges becuase she was affraid to go to court. Court is a scary thing to get up in a room full of people and accuse someone of raping is a very hard thing to do and takes a lot of courage. Maybe she lacks the courage to do so.

But after reading your text I can say in the light of my experience that your bf is not serious in you any more. I think he wanted to say but not clearly about that but you did not understand.
And as he said "just grew apart and that a lot of things had changed" Means the time you met him and now is different.
Have you ever heard a true love /friendship is based on time basis. NO.

Your best friend laughs when someone mentions that she accused some guy of raping her. That is a big problem. You cuss people out because of rumors. That's another big problem. The guy moved away and got away from a problem area. Which problem do you want to work on first?

Unless you know the FULL story. then don't call the police. If she complaines again..tell her to call the police. If it is true, then he will go to jail. Neverless..do not hang around or talk to him in case it is true. Protect yourself. People tell things like this to get back at people, so if you are not involved and she laughed about it, let her deal with it. If you are sure...then call police immediatly.
