I think the industrialized nations should hear what the other citizens of the arab countries have to say undiluted by media and propaganda. I think the industrialized nations should start a reality show for each of the middle east countries where people can fume, testify, and ask questions of the industrialized countries in which responses are instantaneous via the web. So there is no more confusion. Anyone think this is a good Idea? Don't crucify me..please. Just a question of curiosity.

that would be interesting however no matter how much Arab countries want to complain about how we do things it will not change . we allow free speech in most cases they stifle it . our women can wear what they choose in arab countries that is a no no . so simply allowing them to voice their opinion will not change anything unless they start to conform with our standards of how life is about freedom

Communication is always a good idea, but what you are suggesting is impossible. There will always be someone "filtering" in one way or another. For example, with what you are proposing, you would most certainly need a translator. The translator will interpret what he/she hears. Anyone who has ever done any kind of translating before knows that a word can have multiple meanings, sometimes to the degree of altering the entire meaning of a sentence. So no matter the situation there will always be someone to change what people have to say.

Well, as a proponent of rational thought, I think that that would not be too unreasonable. Truth is nobody cares. Think about how many people care about what we do to each other in our own nations. We don't care about our neighbors, I doubt we would care about anyone else. Well, I'm sick of not doing anything about it and not caring. I do care. Many other people care as well. We are not concerned with our money so much as we are concerned with our own point of views. Everyone thinks they are more right than everyone else.

Really, I don't care about religion. I think everyone should give it up and realize we are all the same. If god gets in the way, screw him. We have something more important which is our integrity. I'm not gonna kill another human being for a damn god. Eff that.

Everyone deserves the right, but normal every day banter and chit chat doesn't sell. It has to be violent or we won't see it.

In response to Isaac, my sister in law is Muslim and My grandmother was as well. Not ALL Muslims are terrorists, people like yourself are just as guilty for such problems for spreading ignorance. Of course you saw the scenes of crowds of them dancing, there are MANY supporters but not ALL are like that. Most just want to live in peace, so just remember that next time you think of generalizing, that's what the terrorists do!

Excellent question! I suggest that you start a dialog with a group of people of different backgrounds and make a documentary of it . Show how each side feels. Forget the reality shows. They're for ratings and mostly overblown emotions. How about starting one in your school?

It's a funny thing, but the louder I scream, the less everyone seems to listen.
I don't know why? Do you?
