Why do you want to catch them? If they're in your house/property and you want to remove them, there are several live traps you can buy or make using a little bit of creativity and some peanut butter.

If you want one as a pet remember that even though they're cute they can be carrying many diseases and/or ticks/mites/fleas.

Do you want to remove them from a home, or is this something you want to do to keep them as pets?

Removal from home-
Purchase a no kill trap, Wal-Mart may carry these. If there are many, call an exterminator to discuss a way to get rid of them with out hurting them

As Pets-
Just Don't. No matter the size, it is a WILD animal. They carry disease and are not used to human interaction. They will almost for sure bite you. If you get bitten, as with any WILD animal, you will need to get to the doctors to get a shot to ensure you don't get a disease. If you want to keep a mouse as a pet, the more power to you. I do. But I got mine from a place that gets mice solely for that purpose, and these are animals that have relied on and known human all their lives. A wild mouse will never trust you, and should be left to live its life in the wild. There's really no way to catch a wild mouse outside without hurting it anyway. If a mouse gets caught in a no kill trap, it will do everything to try to get out, they aren't stupid. But in this attempt to escape, there's a really good chance the mouse will injure itself. Its just not worth the risk. Spend the money to buy one if you want it as a pet. And no matter what, leave the wild ones be. No matter how tempting it is to go catch on, they're better off.

If I have been you, i could sense the top comparable way. i like all animals and if there have been wild mice, i could desire to maintain them as pets. yet i be responsive to you would be upset once you hit upon that they look quite afraid of you, and by no ability incredibly will heat up. the reason wild mice are so distinctive from puppy shop mice are that puppy shop mice are bred for use to people. those undesirable mice could have very insufficient lives, or maybe although you purely intend the main suitable, it may be by accident merciless. enable the little adult adult males stay existence how they have been meant to:) in case you quite desire a puppy like that, get a hamster. they're great pets. or you need to even purchase mice from puppy shops that intend to feed them to reptiles, with the aid of fact you are able to nevertheless be saving them, in basic terms below extra effectual words. i'm hoping this helps! You can get no-kill traps that are like little cages. If the mouse enters it and steps on the platform, a spring spins a harmless wheel with a paddle that spanks it into a separate part of the cage.

Why do you want to catch them? If the mice aren't bothering anyone then you should leave them alone.

just leave them wild and in the field.
you'll emotionally injure them if you take them out of their natural environment.
