Best RPG's (in my opinion)
Diablo 2 - way fun, especially with the expansion.
World of Warcraft - online game, with millions of players. You have to pay, but a lot of people think it's worth it.
Action/Strategy
Civilation series (1-4)
Warcraft 3, you can play the campaign, or go online, to battlenet, to play other players
Sim games
I'm sure you've heard of the Sims, and the Tycoon gomes. My personal favorite sim was simfarm.

if your in to RTS (Real time strategy) or war games with armies: Rise of Nations (2003), Age of Mythology (2002), Age of Empires III (2005) are the best
If your in to FPS (first person shooter games): Unreal Tournament (latest edition), Half Life, Doom III.
If your in to RPG (role playing games): Diablo II + expansion, World of War Craft, Baldurs Gate II
If you want free games at are very good, look for Rakion Online,
Gunz online, both action games.

Sims 2 don't get sims one it is not as good. Sims rock you have to buy everyone has one.It should work on that computer but check out your computer and the back of the game. Sad to say but I own it but have to play it at my friends house.

age of empires 1+age of empires2(age of kings)+age of empires2 conquers expansion pack or age of mythology.(there is age of empires3 but it may be too new)
