Yesterday, I asked a straight question about a husband and wife. But it turned out like the world exploded with anger. I received more than 50 answers from virtually everywhere and barring few everybody labelled me as 'rapist'. Actually, I am still a college going student....not yet married. I was just curious because a couple of days ago I read a novel and the frustrated unemployed husband in plot wanted to have sex with his wife and despite her protest, made it. Next morning she leaves him as she too feels she was raped in a way....but that cruel fellow feels nothing, not even a guilt. So, just to have opinion on this situation, I innocently put a question in Yahoo Que. and asked the opinion. But unfortunately everyone assumed me as 'that' husband, which is totally wrong. So whoever answered me with my previous question, please wipe out that bad notion and PLEASE let me take a fresh breath, as I am literary chocking with mistake in putting that specifific question. Please.

Wow!! That's a damn shame that people did that to you but I guess you have to be more careful in how you ask your questions.. there are a lot of young kids on here who may have taken it wrong... on the other hand there are lots of adults that are on here and probably understood that it was a novel. Either way it is just words, look at it logically... what are the chances of you seeing any of these people in real life?? ...Zilch... Anyways, don't sweat the small stuff... you explained yourself... apologized... now move on!

Well I think you were verbally assaulted because you didn't phrase your question correctly. Had you stated as you did in this post that it was a book and you were looking for opinions you probably wouldn't have been bombarded. However, I didn't see your original question, so I'm only speculating.
If you still want opinions, married or not, no means no. Just because you've taken a vow to be with someone doesn't give them the right to take it by force. If there's force involved it's rape.

some peeople on here think they are the IP (Internet Police) and need to relax..no harm from a with a question..i didnt see it but i know people on here vent there real life frustrations on those they can attack..since they feel weak in real life and mabey cant speak out..dont take it personally..this is after all..just a forum of opinions...i had my answers and questions reported deleted and questioned by many cause im not just like the" status quo"..thts fine and i will continue to not be like evrone else ..not on purpose but just because thats me..ask any question you want,,feel free ...you may be attacked by some, and some may curse you ,,but the worst thing that could happen would be that you get censored by yahoo.or some rightous idiot reports you and they delet your question thats a violation off freedom of speech......like i did..someone asked a question...i answered it.they didnt like the answere i got reported and the answer deleted..i wrote yahoo to say if your fair with freedom of speech and the Constitution..delete the offnseive question as well as my offnesive answer,,,quesiton is still there so ..it all depends on who is running the show..yahoo is a bunch of Punk A$$ Bytches who bow down to the will of the many ..so good luck and fight the IP like i do ..hell they'll probably delete this answer too, but hopefully someone will read its message and carry on...

Apology accepted. Be more cautious in what you say so that you are not misunderstood. You be ambiguous took upon yourself the burden of crime not committed by you. This happens when you are confused . Any sexual activity between two without the consent of both is rape- whether the two are related as husband/Wife or any other way even if afterwards one of them feles giulty.

I can see where the misunderstanding came from but I applaud your not backing down and returning to clarified. Rape can be a sensitive issue for alot of people. As for the book it was better that she left. Next time you post include the title and author of the book

It's never a mistake to ask a question, and if people attack you so what....you can learn a lot about how people think and feel by reading how they respond, you can also tell how smart or stupid they are, and whether or not they read the whole question and understood it. Don't feel bad.

You must have deleted the question because I don't see it.

When you state a question you need to be clear. Otherwise, people must conclude that you are the subject of the question.

Try again and don't take it so personal.

Why put yourself in that 'Bad" place? Do you see yourself doing something like that? yet you put yourself there and then wonder , why people are going off on you? Do you use your brain for anything other than to balance your head?
