I used to not miss a show but the last few seasons i've not been that interested. I also wish they would show more surviing then popularity contest.

I know what you mean the last few years have abit boring but I still watch it. I like the one with Jonny Fair Play, He was a good person to watch. I think there chosing boring people. Still is one of my favourite shows though. I agree with your statement.

It's getting to be the same old thing every season. The first season was the best because they had a good mix of ages, looks and personalities. Last season had a little better mix but it seems like most the time they mostly have good looking college age kids who all get along fairly well. There isn't enough conflict.
I think the real Survivor fans like the show for the conflict and personality clashes more than for the size 2 girls in bikinis and buff guys with their six packs.
My two favorite Survivors were the two I most loved to hate Richard and Sue. Neither was anything to look at but look at all the drama we got to see. And no one can ever top Sue's snakes and rats speech!

Dude my best friend was a huge fan of the 1st Survivor and he has been dead for like 6 year now.
I liked it then too but it just gets old....you see 'alliances' and backstabbing everyday at work....
The only reality shows I watch anymore are the talent based ones.

I agree with the popularity thing. But yeah, I didnt see season 1, but have seen all others faithfully, it has kind of dwindled down, but I will watch it as long as its on, i look forward to the whole family episode thing, where they come out from behind a bush or they get to see videos!

I think it is time for Survivor to call it quits you can only go so far with a series before the series goes stale. I watch American Top Model but even that is getting old now too.

Old, boring and the same old thing. They always try to start it off with something new but after a few episodes switch back to the old format. I don't watch it anymore.
I hate the interpersonal drama that they focus on.

yeah, i think it isn't really a survival show at all. It is all about popularity, and who cannot get along with who.
It is getting old. I don't want to watch it anymore. Not appealing.

the first few were alot more exciting because you didnt know what to expcet, everyone knew who the people were too. Now when you talk about it you get confused because you dont know which season the people are in. I think its starting to get old.

I gave up on T.V. altogether about 3 years ago and haven't looked back. Personally I get far more enjoyment from reading and maybe spending some time on Yahoo!Answers :).
