...Human Race. However, if you agree to go, and you could perhaps go with your family, you would not be allowed to come back to earth for your lifetime. Would you do it?

p.s. In 500 years the earth could become too toxic, or too hot, to live on...or it could be about to be hit by an asteroid, or the Greenhouse Effect could have triggered an earlier than scheduled Ice Age (They usually happen every 20,000 years)...

I very seriously doubt that the earth will become unliveable that soon, however Mars is unliveable now. If we can do the things necessary to make Mars liveable we could also do whatever might be needed to make earth liveable.

In the life of this planet a lot of things have happened. The climate has changed from hot to cold and back to hot and back to cold. Man has been able to adapt.

I think colonizing Mars would be a very worthwhile undertaking, but I don't think the best reason to do it is because earth could become uninhabitable. And, yes, I would agree to go if the chance were presented to me. Whether I would choose to stay would depend on just how liveable the conditions on the Red Planet were going to be.

I won't be alive in 500 years. Neither will any of my family members born now to 80 some years. We will all be ghosts.
I'd do it. only if I could take my child.

...........dont make me laugh..... in 500 years!

u heard it wrong...its in 500 million years....perhaps....

scientists have to invent a time-machine to convert humans to atoms (...note...not just molecules)....and reconvert these atoms back to humans..... (any glitsch may give you no eyes, one arm, half a dick & 2 asxholes...).

u need to travel thorugh the most formidable barrier.... time in light-years.... n that could only be possible for atoms that do not need food, air, water & sex!
