Toodle-pip, howdy partner! Lovely weather! Lots of reasons to point one's finger at Israeli's poking there poko-stick at the Arabs lately, but i'd like to hear how many think the culprit for the atrocities at present are the Americans, Brits, so on? Who are supplying th arms? Is it obvious that one should point the finger at the Brits for supplying arms for others to kill and mame, could there have been an alternative? Your opinion of course? I'd have prefered a political solution. I certainly know who the victims are and whom are the terrorists...

Hizbollah has already admitted their mistake. They said they underestimated the Israeli response. So in other words for all the libbo moonbats on here, the Hizbollah thought they could cross the border into Israel, kill 8 soldiers, kidnap another two more, then fire Katyusha rockets into Haifa and Israel would just make like a carpet to be walked all over?
The reason for the "over-reaction" is because the UN resolution 1559 called for the disbanding of all non Lebanese militias in Lebanon and restore lebanon to the Lebanese.
Only the opposite has happened.
Due to iran and Syria meddling in Lebanese affairs, they have built up Hizbollah and armed them with long range rockets.
Israel is seizing the opportunity to disarm Hizbollah. This is something the impotent UN was supposed to have done.
The UN is too busy lining their own pockets.

First let me pass the crying towl around. there each of you dab the tear away........ Ok all dry now?
I hate to be the insensitve one, truley I do.... But yes. the Zionist won a piece of ground away from the British who were quite frankly tired of the whole mess. Sense then the constant struggle to get back land has spiraled to the point where the whole world is at a boiling point. There is no winners in this whole debacle. One side has there shorts so bunched up that reason has escaped them(palestinians) the other side is so scared of their shadow that there first response is to kill anything that moves.
So who is accountable? Thats easy, BOTH Isreal AND the Palisestinians! Equally!!! Palistinians have to learn that they have to PEACEFULLY integrate into the country of Isreal. Isreal has to let them become integrated into their society. Most nations of the world today became what they are thru conquest. most if not all have come to terms with it and have at least tried to integrate into a funtional society. Unfortunatley neither side is will to live in peace. So they are now killing each other, blaming each other. I say hurry up and do it so the world can return to peace and tranquility!

It was the British Mandate of 1948 to redraw the map of the Middle East. They acquiesced to Zionist demands for a state of their own smack dab in the middle of Palestine. They were offered Madagascar, but refused it (true story). It is their belief that Israel is the "promised land" - by God.
So the Brits went along with it and displaced the inhabitants of Palestine to make room for an Israeli state. A move that may, decades later, trigger worldwide military conflict. The lack of vision is staggering.
Current world leaders are only somewhat to blame, dealing with a mess created years ago by myopic post-war Europeans.

The people responsible are both Israel and Hezbollah and partly the Lebanese Government. If the Lebanese Government had the correct frame of mind, the Hezbollah would have been banned already. The Hezbollah caused theyre own problems by killing 2 Israeli soldiers, and kidnapping several others. Israel Government are also responsible for the murders of hundreds of innocents in theyre quest to get back these soldiers. And Blair and Bush are both dumb for saying "Yes, its ok for Israel to retaliate". Ok, i suggest putting theyre leaders inside the warzone and getting shot at and just see what these two idiots do. They wouldnt have the balls. Not true leaders, not even leaders, just two men hiding in nice big buildings.

Well, when an emergency summit votes to call for an immediate ceasefire and two countries vote against thereby letting the current violence continue, those two countries (USA,UK) are culpable.
The USA has most leverage through its supply of aid and arms to Israel. The unwillingness of the USA to restrain Israel (through restriction of aid or arms) from bombing Lebanese civilians into the stone age is hard to fathom; why does the USA support Israeli attacks on UN peacekeepers, the Red Cross, power stations, roads and other parts of Lebanon wholly unconnected with Hizbollah?

a honest and Equitable international Justice device? and also you imagine that this "honest and equitable device" ought to pass after Bush for ultimately responding to the Islamic possibility - or do you assume that somewhat, somewhat, responsibility may lie with the radicals who've indiscriminately slaughtered thousands of possibility free men, women human beings and toddlers international huge in furthering their agenda of murdering all who refuse to remodel to Islam? Mmmmmm.....hard capture 22 difficulty, eh? possibly your psychotic hatred for President Bush has blinded you as to who the undesirable men are in this conflict. the outcome of ignoring those airborne dirt and dirt bags contained in the previous has purely resulted purely in extra and deadlier terror assaults. possibly you experience we'd want to continuously go back to this coverage of state of being inactive - and need they purely pass away?
