Because despite what the US makers of the patriot system claim it is a long way from full proof. It is estimated under genuine battlefield conditions, patriot is less than thirty percent accurate. so sevety percent of missiles pass through its shield untouched.

The missiles that are being used are too small and too fast for a patriot to catch. It's hard enough to track them with large 3-D radar systems much less something you can fit into a 1.5 sq. ft. canister.

What is there in Israel?What is it economic position?What they produce?What they have to protect?They are just living by the leftovers given by USA.So it has to protect the interests of USA ie.oil resources in the area.Israel is fighting for USA.Israel is just a base for USA.That is all.
