Two really good ones are The W's and Five Iron Frenzy. Both fall in the category of swing/ska, but not so much big band. The W's big song about ten years ago was "The Devil is Bad," and they also did "The Rumor Weed" song on the Veggietunes album for Veggie Tales.

Harry Connick, Jr. has some great big band stuff, and despite not being labeled as such, confesses a faith in Christ. His only overtly Christian music is on his Christmas albums, however. Still, his "We Are in Love" is a fantastic album of Big Band-style music, and he's a pretty cool cat and an outstanding vocalist.

Yes, I have an old friend that plays the drums in a band called "high street", they have two cd's out, done very professionally. But they are more blues/swing than big band, but they are well worth whatever price I paid for them. Actually I know the upright/bass dude and keyboardist too, I played (drums) with them a couple of times on Sunday nights. They are out of Nampa, Idaho. If you are interested (and I happen to be in Nampa for about 6 more days) email me immediately if you want to get some cd's, they're probably 10 or 15 bucks. mr_umpley (at) hotmail.com
