The education system is doing many things of this sort but your accusation lacks basic evidence. The innocent people you would be referring to are obviously children. The bipartisan line is constantly changing generation after generation as liberal ideas are accepted and adopted by Conservatives. That naturally makes children liberal unless they were repressed into backward ways of thinking by parents. Which happens quite frequently thanks to help from schools in eradicating free thought. About the terrorist sympathizers schools also do about exactly the opposite. They program children to fear authority and also to put little real value in their work. So saying that school encourages them to sacrifice their lives to damage a organization or belief in authority (or sympathizes with some one doing so) is pretty absurd. If you think illumination of ignorance of Southwestern Asia's culture is making terrorist sympathizers, I will sadly have to inform you that liberals were not that successful in making multiculturalism part of the curriculum. If they had been I might not have dropped out and probably wouldn't be ranting about how much i hate school right now. Plus if schools were making terrorist sympathizers wouldn't the anti-war movement be at least at the level the were in the 70's. If anyone found this interesting check out the essay in the following link it really changed my life.

yes, education......bad? Could it be more like the lack of education has brainwashed innocent people into conservatives and blind allegience to a party that only cares about a small slice of the population, the rich GOP. Sure Sen. Frist might sponsor a bill banning gays from marrying in his state appeasing his indigent, small minded base while allowing companies to continually merge and merge and merge until finally, one day, when all the people have been out sourced and down-sized, there will be only 5 companies that are on the stock exchange.

Could your question be any more ridiculous? Education opens, broadens the mind. Education makes you see both sides of the argument. Education makes you humble. So if education makes people sympathize with certain view points, probably those view points indeed warrant sympathy.
What are you going to suggest next? To close down schools and colleges?
Do you know how fascism starts? may be you do.. hmmm.. and may be that's why you are suggesting this. Quickly tell us a reason why you shouldn't be quartered and drawn to pieces?

I think the American media does the best job of this. However, there has always been an unproportionate of liberals in teaching positions. My 13 year old cousin had a teacher that was categorizing world leaders and put Bush in with Hitler. But every so often there's a person in class that challenges the teacher/professor's comments.

I would rather be a person of knowledge than a person of ignorance. Gaining knowledge of the world outside of your "box" and understanding of the people in the world will always result of breaking of stereotypes. Not all people from one race or culture fit the stereotypes. Not every person from the south although it may seem that way, are missing teeth, flying confederate flags and watching Dukes of Hazzard. Not all middle easterners are extremists, but thats what is shown on the media(fox news being the worst) so that is what none literary types like yourself would see. Learn about other cultures and their history so you can understand them.
We all fear and redicule what we do not understand or know.

If you take into the argument that as a whole, academic professors are likely to be more liberal (much much more liberal) in their views (and hence their lectures) than conservative. The only nice thing that counters this is, as a whole, more conservatives are found to possess a four year college degree than liberals. And that's about the only reason I still argue for federal student loans and grants!

No, an education teaches someone how to critically think. An educated person would recognize the problems with an extreme liberalist or terrorist line of thinking.
Brainwashing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainwashing) requires coercive techniques to accept what is being taught.

,you read Hillary's book of lies, this book will prove how bad she detests the Military, along with B. Clinton and VP Al Gore was even worse than I ever thought, these people have no right to be in public office. They sold this country to the highest DNC payoffs. It's sickening to think they are building a memorial to Clinton, his "library of shame"! "The Library of LIES." I saw the book review and presentation by Mr. Patterson on TV, he was frank, honest, sincere and a true patriot to this nation. He went on to tell how the White House was in complete disarray for 8 years; impeachment in my mind was too good for these arrogant nepotists. Hope the populace of New York State and New York City can read this book before they vote; should be required reading for all Democrats and GOP before they vote

Yes, if you are educated, you are more likely to be a liberal. You will be able to understand complex situations and realize the causes of terrorism and the need for things like universal health care.

I think what you mean is, education produces liberals and ignorance allows people to remain republican. Just look at the map of blue vs red states and you'll see that its true.
