All ducks can fly if you include fat farm ducks that can't get more then a few feet off of the ground, and keep hitting their butts on the ground.
One year, we had a wild goose decide to live with us. The Muscovy male did not like him, and they were always fighting. One day, the goose was losing and tried to escape by taking off into the air. The Muscovy duck took off in flight after him. When he caught up with the gander in the air, he held on to his tail feathers, stopped flying, and pulled the goose to the ground. That day the duck won.

Wild ducks fly very well while domesticated ducks are out of shape, and can't really fly too well. Just think of it as a athlete that runs. Now think about your grandparents. If they are over 60 and at least 100 pounds overweight, I bet that they can't run anymore.
If people don't want their ducks to fly, they will cut off the long feathers on one wing. You don't cut the feathers short on both wings, because this will balance them and they can fly again. More air will move on the uncut wing, and this will make them go in circles, pushing them back.

They fly if they are able and are alive, if they cannot, they don't fly. I've seen ducks fly, so I know they can, but if their wings are clipped, they may not be able to. If they are in a cage and never let out...well no, they cannot fly. What is the problem with whether they can fly or not? Does it affect you personally if they can?

There is one breed of ducks that do not fly (well), I think they are called Roland or something like that. Every other breed of duck does fly. Mallard ducks are beautiful when they are flying.

don't be so complicated on your self. curiously, you're rather youthful. I even have prevalent human beings lots older than you who've hardship in comparable circumstances. This female isn't basically indecisive, she is likewise very risky. via that, I mean she performs with human beings's thoughts and he or she is making use of you. you are the coolest chum she will run to each and each time she's harm, yet she shouldn't grant you loyalty. She isn't mature sufficient to be attentive to what it quite is. Are you keen to enable her use you as doormat till the subsequent boyfriend/sufferer comes alongside, then she would be in a position to drop you like a warm potato to circulate directly to the subsequent boy? Nurse your thoughts for now and be a pal in case you're stable sufficient to be one, yet do no longer enable her to take earnings of you.
