You need to ask her what she means by her comment of a bad and a good person inside her head.
As a parent you need to kind of ask in areal, non threatening and interested way… trying to draw her out and getting her to disclose just what actually might be the issue. If there’s an issue at all... could be just a young child talking or acting out.
You never said her age (2 or 17) or if she has had any issues or problems that might make you think there is something negative going on...
It could be something as simple a as a five year old realizing good and bad in the world or it could be as complicated as a 16 year old realizing that she is conflicted with some sexual choices....
As the parent you need to clarify a few things with her…don't read to much into it but if what you find out is still concerning you need to make an appointment with a professional it can be a school counselor, SWK or Psychologist so you get an understanding of things, so that you can learn to address your concerns.
FYI-if her wierdness is in any way a threat to herself, others or yourself get/call for help immediatly.

hi there, 1st things 1st, DO NOT TELL HER SO SHUT UP AND THREATEN TO TAKE HER TO THE DOC!!!! that is probably the worst thing you can do... il explain now...
you daughter MITE be suffering from schetzofrenia, and not bipolar!! schetzo is a multi personality disorder which can be brought on by multiple things such as, parents divorcing, not a good time at school, bad experiences in the past, problmes at home esp with parents etc!!!
now if you tell your kid so shut up, you mite cause ireprable damge to her mind, even cause the "bad" personality to take control!!!
1. you need to ask her or if you can see when it is the bad or the good daughter!!
2. try and determine what may bring this change foward, like if you punish her, or scold her, etc,
3. how long has this been goin on??
4. how often does it happen??
these are just some of the thing you mite wanna try and find out!!! but in all honesty if your daughter is young, i can also be a way to get a lot of attention, differant attention that she gets form you now!!! if you understand what i mean!!!
also does she hear voices in her head, like in is the bad side of her talking to her or telling her to do things etc...
if this does continue my bet is to go see a pscyhologist, and by finding some of the things out that i have mentioned above it mite make things easier aswell!!!
i realy hope i have been able to help you to some degree, let me know if it does, would apreciate your feed back!!!

Play it safe and see a therapist. Telling her to shut up and act normal could cause a lot of damage if something is really happening. It's best to err on the side of caution.
Besides, throwing your weight around with a kid who's in trouble of some kind, as another responder suggested, is the action of a coward. There are always better ways to handle a kid.
I'm just glad the kid is yours, not that other person's. You have the good sense to ask for help. She's a lucky kid to have you for a mom.
Good luck!

Hi.
You really do need to seek out professional help with this one.
Did your daughter go through a traumatic life experience between the ages of 4 and 8? It is known that in some cases this can lead to a problem known as 'Multiple personality disorder.' Subconsciously the child affected by this will create 'alternate personalities' in order to protect her/himself from further traumatic events.
You need to get her referred for a psychological evaluation.
Try not to worry, with the right therapeutic input, she can be helped.

How old is she? If she's young maybe it is something she saw in a movie and is copying? Ask her why she says that. If her answer concerns you then you may want to talk to her doctor. DON'T let him/her laugh off your concerns. If you are seriously concerned don't take "it's probably nothing" for an answer. It may be best to discuss your concerns with a doctor or therapist that HAS KIDS of their own!

Tell her doctor this. Get her a thorough check-up first, and take it from there. It's not something that should be ignored. good luck, dear.
