I also have PCOS. I was able to concieve witht the help of CLOMID, a fertility drug. I lost the baby at 10 weeks due to high stress levels at my job. Needless to say I don't work there anymore and they had to pay for all my hospital and dr. bill involing the miscarriage. But it is possible with the help of a great OBGYN. I have found a great site
www.soulcysters.com you might give it a try it is WONDERFUL!!!! If you would like to talk sometime my email address is : jennifer200018@yahoo.com

I hope this helps you out. Just be patient, at trying to concieve takes time. Just remember, the fun part is trying to get pregnant. Relax and don't think about it and it will happen in due time.

I also have PCOS..."Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is an endocrine disorder. Everyone has both male and female hormones. PCOS patients suffer from an increase in the male (androgenic) hormones by the ovaries and adrenal glands. In PCOS, the ovaries often become enlarged and contain many small cysts. This increase in androgens may inhibit ovulation, and leads to continued estrogen production, but not progesterone, and thus irregular menstrual cycles." from the WWC website.

I am 34years old and I have suffered since age 16. To finally have a baby, I had to do IVF which worked on the first try. The second time was on our own. I just found out that I have another 6 centimeter cyst on my ovarie. If I have to have another surgery that would make it number 6. What I have learned is that having pcos can add to weight gain, and discoloration of the skin. Mine was behind my neck under the hair line. If you've been diagnosed, it won't be fun, but don't let it change the way you wanna live your life. Be blessed!

I have PCOS & was diagnosed back in 2000. I go to a great support site called Conception Store (Conceptionstore.com, then go to the forum area). There are lots of ladies there with PCOS that have great success stories.

I ended up diagnosing myself in 1999 before I saw a doctor cause I read about it in Woman's Day Magazine. It took seeing a Reproductive Endcronolgist to really get the help I needed as they are more experience with PCOS.
