the scottsdale fashion square mall. phoenix zoo. golfcourses. museums. and bars, clubs.the grand canyon. sedona. sorry that these arent in pheonix but pheonix to me is boring but i like to go to SOME of these places. there is lots of other fun

In the day time check out the desert and climb some of the mountains around here. Make sure you hydrate well and take a gallon of water for each person.
At night go up on Bell Road and check out the most restaurants in one place from 59th Avenue to the 101.
Anytime is a good time to buy a car here. There is no shortage of automobile dealerships. That is why you never go to Phoenix to ride a bus.

We have gorgeous golf courses, shopping in Scottsdale (everything from Western art to designer fashion), Phoenix zoo, Art museum, science center, baseball games, Tempe town lake, tour Az state university, theater, Phoenix symphony, dinner at Ruth Chris steakhouse, and Renaissance festival in March
BUT...
if you come in the summer, drive 2 hours north and visit gorgeous Sedona. It's the most beautiful place in the state. Their famous jazz in the red rocks festival is in September.

There are tons of things. You need to be more specific. Activities for kids or adults? Outdoors or in? Very active like sports or not so active? What types of things do you like to do?

well when i used to live there many moons ago -I used to got to a place called Big Surf --It's like a man-made beach -- waves --music etc -
