Why is Tony Stewart so hated?

Jealous of his talent, I think he is a great driver and I love his attitude. Rubbing is racing,if you can't take it get off the track. I think the license pl8t chick is way off base and totally out of line (you should know what your talking about before speaking) and Earnhardt gave other drivers the finger plenty of times.Just because he doesn't suck up and kiss A$$ that means hes a jerk.

Ok, so Tony's a decent driver. Fine. Earnhardt is in a category only matched by the likes of The King, Bobby Allison.. drivers who drove with class. Yes, DE did spin T. Labonte across the finish line to win, but, that's different than losing your temper and taking it out on other drivers. Plus, the only birds that should be seen on raceday, should be flying overhead. People can compare Tony and Dale all they want, there will NEVER be another Intimidator. Besides, Kurt Busch was the one voted into the top most hated athletes :)

Tony didn't do a little bump and run, he intentionally ran another driver off the track because in Tony's own words, "he was racing too hard'. The hypocrisy of his actions this year is equalled only by his ego. He preaches patience then wrecks people at will if they don't do things to suit him. He's not even a shadow of Dale Earnhardt who would have taken care of an *** like Tony years ago. It's time, in the words of Earnhardt, for Tony to "shut up and drive".

Was I a fan of Earnhardt...no, am I a fan of Stewart...no! What I do respect about Earnhardt is he was original, he brought something new to the table!

I don't like when they use their car as a weapon...it is NOT part of racing, racing has to do with speed, not PURPOSELY knocking other drivers out because they got in your way, risking lives!

Tony just loses his cool on the track. Something he has struggled with for years. I agree what he did at pocono was quite uncalled for. For the people trying to compare Tony and Dale Sr they are not even comparable. They are from two different eras of the sport. Some of the stuff that dale did back in the day would be frowned upon today.

Because a lot of people don't want to see another person die for acting like they own the track. This time instead of killing themselves because of their stupid antics, they might kill someone else.
