Were you pregnant for sure or just thought you might be?

And if you were pregnant and spotted for 3 days it does not necessarily mean you have miscarried.
But you need to go to the doctor and be checked out just in case.
If you have miscarried then you need to have a dnc done asap.

When I miscarried I had cramping, and it was blood clots with mucus in it. This was a very, very long time ago so I'm sure there were other symptoms and I just cant remember. (30 yr ago)

Good luck and may God be with you

I doubt it. I'm almost 4 weeks and I've been wondering about miscarriages and I've done some research and read that it's normal to bleed a little around the time your period would normally show up. And if it were to last more than 3 days, then you would need to ask a doctor. But I hear it's heavy bleeding and painful for miscarriages.

Go to your doctor. But it doesn't sound like it. When you miscarry, I believe the bleeding heavy and painfull.

What are the Warning signs of Miscarriage:

If you experience any or all of these symptoms, it is very important to contact your doctor or get to a medical facility as soon as possible:
Mild to severe back pain (often worse than normal menstrual cramps)
Weight loss
White-pink mucus
True contractions (very painful happening every 5-20 minutes)
Frequent bowel movements
Brown or bright red bleeding or spotting with or without cramps (20-40% of all pregnancies can experience some bleeding in early pregnancy, with about 50% of those resulting in normal pregnancies)
Tissue with clot like material passing from the vagina
Nausea
Decrease in signs of pregnancy or loss of breast tenderness

You may have had a missed miscarriage... but you may be just fine also... Definately call your doctor in the morning, he/she may want to do an ultrasound to be sure.

It's really hard to say--could go either way. You really should go see your doctor so he can see what your HCG levels are.
