You could always format and reinstall your Operating system. Most of the time, the slowing down in speed is caused by the adware and spyware programs unknowingly installed in our systems. Using anti-spyware programs could sift out some of these programs out. But most of the time, the spyware programs could not be totally eliminated. I recommend that you backup your important files and reformat your computer from time to time.

Hope this helps.

you do not state if the placement is new or if the pc develop into continually sluggish. First sparkling the equipment of all secret agent ware and unneeded startup application/approaches (seek for vehicle updaters that you somewhat do no longer choose). once you've AOL or McAfee, take it off and get usefull replacements. If the pc remains too sluggish, then look on the quantity of memory you've, i ought to represent you improve to the max the equipment will take or a minimum of 512mb which ever comes first.

Try degfraging - click, start, accessories, system tools, then disk defragmenter. And next you can clean up your cookies. In your web browser, click tools, Internet options, then delete cookies, then delete files (also delete all offline content) And what I also use is a program that I use to scan my computer for spyware, it's free at www.lavasoft.com. Hope this helps.

You could run the recovery on it, which will return everything to the way it was when you bought it.

Computer Slow

Download and then run startup.exe (FREEWARE) at:

http://www.mlin.net/startupcpl.shtml......

Can't live without it and windows...

Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.

Other things to try:

1 - Disk Cleanup (removal of temp files, cookies, etc.)
2 - Defrag
3 - Registry Cleanup (CAN BE VERY RISKY!)

ALL ELSE FAILS - RELOAD YOUR O/S (WINDOWS) AND THEN REINSTALL ALL OTHER PROGRAMS YOU NEED/USE!
