My hometown is #12. - If you can think of a way to get people to stop moving here, let me know. If they would stop naming us the #1 place to live, the #1 family place to live & the best place to live to find jobs - we have really low unemployment, less than 3%. Even the 2nd best place for business by Forbes.
It is getting crowded - they have started 4 new neighborhoods within 1 mile of my house - building over 2300 houses. Stay away!!! Nothing personal - just getting busy on our highways.

I'm sure it didn't make the list, but Baton Rouge practically doubled in size after Katrina. Most of those people have remained there.
