I am getting involuntarily separtated due to a medical condition, and my wife is 8 weeks pregant. I am told by Tricare officials, that they will not cover her prenancy once I get out. I will only have 60 days of coverage if I am not medically retired. Now that she will have a pre-exisitng condiition, the insurance companies want to add 20% to their already high premiums. I am just stressing that we wont have insurance to cover it if I cannot get a job. Any advice?

I CAN'T GIVE ANY ADVICE ON THIS ONE. WE ARE ALSO ON TRI-CARE, BUT HAVE MY HUSBAND'S EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ALONG WITH IT. I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. BUT THEY ARE CORRECT. THIS TRULY IS A BAD SITUATION.
TRY NOT TO WORRY SO MUCH OVER IT AND THINK MORE ABOUT THE WONDERFUL BLESSING OF HAVING YOUR NEW ONE ADDED TO THE FAMILY! THINGS WILL WORK OUT! REALLY, THEY WILL. :)
