Well, to be frank... Buddy Holly doesn't have anything in him. Not even the breath of life. Buddy Holly passed away tragically in a plane crash February 3rd, 1959 within minutes of takeoff. Also on the plane were Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper. So, I guess the reason he hasn't put out an album in 40 years would be because he's been dead for nearly 48 years.

Just as Richie Valens...they've been dead for a long time...cold and hard in the ground. There is such things as plane crashes.
