My French ancestors were kicked out of France for being Protestant.
My Irish ancestors came to the U.S. to escape the famine and British occupation of Ireland.
My Native American ancestors were marched down the trail of tears because they were Native Americans.
My English ancestors came to the U.S. in 1620 to escape religious persecution.
